WOO HOO SPLISH SPLASH
Aemon today you got to enjoy the water trough. I had put some soap bubbles in the water and you were curious to touch them, you reached out as you were sitting next to teacher Mahira and tried to catch them however they kept popping. Splish, splash, bubble, bubble, pop! You were learning new words, and thinking about the wetness of the water and the bubbliness of the bubbles. When you saw the water wheel you tried so hard to reach it and your peserverence paid off, when you finally pulled it close to you the smile on your face showed me you were excited and happy that you had reached your goal. You saw how some things floated and some sank, some of the toys were big and some were small. The bubbles popped all around your hands some of them even floated up to your face. As you splashed you laughed as the water touched your face so
you splashed harder. The children beside you kept saying "look at Aemon he's getting all wet" so I reassured them that it was ok and that he had extra clothes and that he was having fun, just like them.
EXPLORATION GOAL 3: Children experience an environment where they learn strategies for active exploration, thinking and reasoning. They develop the confidence to choose and experiment with materials, to play around with ideas, and to explore actively with all their senses.
